A few weeks ago, I had my first referral from another photographer. I was shocked but so grateful. A shoutout and a big thank-you to Kayla Brockett Photography from Central Coast, NSW.
This extended family sessions took place in the beautiful wine-country of the Hunter Valley. Each family member was so outgoing and a little wild, but that just made it so much fun!
The family members were living in beautiful places all over the world, so this was the first time they were all together in years! As one of the daughter was getting married at this Hunter Valley location within the next few days, their dad knew this was the perfect time to fit in their family photos!
I managed to wrangle them all in and get the big group shots done first, then I grabbed the people as it was their turn. They kind of all just ran amuck and caught up with each other after so long apart!
This family unit had such a strong family dynamic and you could feel the deep bond and connection through their interactions. No matter what, they would always be there for each other and get through it together! It was really beautiful and heartwarming to be apart of, even if only for a short amount of time.
Extended family sessions aren't ones I do often. But.... this one was really cool to be apart of. It has definitely made me excited for future extended family sessions!
